REOPEN SOUTHERN NEVADA

SOUTHERN NEVADANS ARE READY. LET’S GET IT DONE.

Toward the end of April, our voices were heard. Southern Nevada businesses began to open in early May. But progress has been slow.

It’s time to continue to REOPEN SOUTHERN NEVADA, not on a tentative, maybe-maybe not, schedule.

Our Southern Nevada businesses are ALL IN on reopening now and so am I.

REOPEN SOUTHERN NEVADA in a safe and reasonable way.

Many businesses tell me they’re ready to open now. Others need a little more time to prepare. But what they all agree on is to let each business prepare, make any necessary changes and precautions, and then let’s get our economy going.

RECREATIONAL FACILITIES

Open outdoor facilities, such as golf courses, hiking and biking trails, community walking trails as well gyms and training facilities.

RETAIL & SERVICES

Our economic foundation is built on small business. Allow those in ‘open air’ strip malls, or along our city streets, to open their doors and bring back their customers. Dry cleaners, salons, smoke shops, shoe repair, barber shops and more are the economic backbone of our community. We need them back.

RESTAURANTS

Open restaurants. With time to adjust seating capacities and to establish room limits for diners, our restauranteurs are very capable of developing plans to not only make their customers and employees safe, but to return to the joy of dining out.

TIMELINE

Participating in
REOPEN SOUTHERN NEVADA
is a personal choice.

AS IT SHOULD BE.

Each business can set their own timeline based on how much time the business/facilities may need to ramp up and open. Many businesses are ready to open now, others want more time to prepare.

Whatever their timeline, the city, county, state and federal government need to be available as necessary to answer their questions, provide resources, offer advice and just be there to support their efforts.

As has been said throughout this ordeal, we’re all in this together. As Nevadans, we’ve done our part for nearly three months as we’ve worked toward ‘the curve’. Now, it’s time to take the next step, continue to work together, and REOPEN SOUTHERN NEVADA.

OUR CHOICES ARE UP TO US

Not everyone is going to agree on a timeline to reopen Southern Nevada. But certainly, everyone can make their own choices. Some business are anxious to reopen now. Others may take their time and wait to see how the reopening unfolds.

Many people are ready to get out of the house and enjoy outdoor activities. Others may want to stay at home longer until they’re comfortable to go out. Some are ready to go out and eat, get a haircut, go shopping, or just do everyday chores. Others can wait. Participating in ReOpen Southern Nevada is a personal choice. As it should be.

WE’VE COME THIS FAR TOGETHER. LET’S FINISH THE JOB AND REOPEN SOUTHERN NEVADA.
